As our business continues to grow internationally, we are looking for an ambitious and passionate Global Poultry Consultant to strengthen our expert team.
Your Role
As a Global Poultry Consultant, you will work closely with poultry producers, integrated companies, animal health organizations, and industry partners across the world. You will provide strategic and technical support in all aspects of poultry production, health management, and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct technical audits of broiler, breeder, layer, hatchery, and turkey operations.
- Advise customers on poultry health, biosecurity, welfare, disease prevention, and management practices.
- Design and optimize vaccination and health programs.
- Support field trials, research projects, and product evaluations.
- Deliver technical training, workshops, and presentations for clients and industry stakeholders.
- Develop practical recommendations and detailed consultancy reports.
- Collaborate with pharmaceutical companies, universities, and industry partners.
- Represent Vetworks at international conferences, seminars, and technical meetings.
- Contribute to business development initiatives and support the growth of our global consultancy activities.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
- Strong interest in poultry health, production, and performance optimization.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are considered an asset.
- Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a global team.
Supportive Qualifications
- Experience within the poultry industry is a plus, if just graduated a very strong interest in poultry is a prerequisite
- PhD, postgraduate specialization, or advanced poultry-related qualifications.
- Experience in applied research, field trials, or scientific publications.
- Knowledge of poultry nutrition and flock management.
- Established network within the poultry and animal health sectors.
- Experience working in international environments.
