Tom Serrarens received a Bachelor in Agro- and Biotechnology in 2008 at Hogeschool Ghent in Belgium.
Tom is raised on an arable farm in The Netherlands and decided in 2007 to start up his own broiler farm in Belgium. In the first years he combined his job as farmer with a commercial function in the Swine Industry.
Since 2010, he fully focused on the exploitation of the broiler farm. This experience gave him incredible insight in the entire broiler production cycle.
Nowadays, Tom still supervises his broiler farm and also works as an independent consultant in the field of broiler management.
